folks,
All things must end at some time and Evergreen’s
time has come. We will be performing at all the venues
that are listed on our calendar this spring and summer
and saying our final farewells at the Wayside Theater
in Dexter, ME on October 26.
Steve will be moving to his new home in Belfast and Chris
will be returning to Vermont, his home state.
Even though we have boxes of prior CDs we just had to
record one last time. That was done April 14 & 15
at Joe and Nel’s home, live in the room with no
overdubs. Steve and Chris have written some great songs
and we
really wanted
to make them available to you. There will be an initial
small number of CDs pressed. If you think you might like
one, please
fill out this pre-order form.
Twenty two years is a good run for a band. We were fortunate
that we lived close enough to get together most Friday
nights to craft our show and all the songs you enjoy.
We traveled over most of New England and some in Canada.
Our
previous four CDs garnered much praise and attention.
We all made many friends over the years. We have lots
to be
proud of. We hope that you, our fans, get a chance to
see us one last time together.
